This shape is what causes the tongue to curve up and greet the sweetness and perlage of each delicious varietal, emphasizing the fruity nature of the wine - yet balancing the acidity of these young wines. Stands 8 1/8 inches tall and holds up to 7 2/8 oz of fine wine. The Riedel Sommeliers Series was the first gourmet glass line of its kind and set the bar for today's hand-made glassware standards. Each fine glass is individually hand-made of over 24 percent lead crystal - the bowls are mouth-blown into a mold and the stem and base are crafted using 2000-year old techniques. Made in Austria. Hand washing is strongly recommended.
