Wine & Liquor Shipping Policies & Terms and Conditions of Sale
There is always one person who tries to slip something by, so we have to state the following:

Your wine and/or liquor order is subject to the following restrictions and policies which are in addition to and supercede our normal order policies where they may conflict.  By purchasing alcohol you are agreeing to these Policies & Terms and Conditions of Sale:

• Due to the nature of the shipments and sale of alcohol, we are not able to make exceptions to our policies or restrictions so don't go yelling and screaming about things we can't change.

• In an effort to prevent damage to your alcohol, all shippable orders will be held until a "cool weather" window is available and will not be shipped during "hot weather" periods.  During summer it's difficult to find the best time, but we will make an effort to ship during a cooler weather window. All wine shipments will be shipped only on Mondays or Tuesdays to prevent wine from sitting in shipper warehouses over weekends. Please note these restrictions can delay the shipment of your order several weeks. 

• All shipments will be shipped via FedEx Ground service.  Express shipping is an option for those that need shipments in a hurry, but express shipping is insanely expensive on alcohol.

• Shipping cost will be calculated at time of shipment, however typical shipping costs for example are $20 for under 6 bottles, and $35+ per case.

• All alcohol sales are sold "As Is, Final Sale" and are not returnable for any reason unless the incorrect product was shipped.  PHG will not exchange "Bad" or "Corked" bottles unless purchased on site in the Omaha, retail store. Unless specifically noted during the time of ordering, the vintage shipped will be the current vintage on hand. Gifts with purchase or other included free items are no charge items, if they were damaged you were out nothing, if they arrived safely then rejoice and be happy.

• We will make a reasonable effort to package your items so they arrive safely in great off-the-shelf condition, but we are not going to pick through looking for the best labels and wrap everything in a foot of bubble wrap either. Packaging is there for a reason to protect the actual product, that wonderful adult beverage inside.  As such; ripped, torn, discolored, crushed or damaged packaging, tubes, tines, labels, foils, and/or damaged gifts with purchase are not considered defects or considered damage to the product. 

• All wine and liquor shipments will require an adult signature with ID (legal age to accept delivery of the alcohol please consult your local and state laws.)  Shippers will be instructed to disregard signature wavers. 

• Buyer will be charged for any return shipment charges for refused or un-deliverable or returned shipments plus a minimum 15% restocking fee or the full value of the alcohol if the product is believed to be damaged in any way. 

• PHG has the following geographic shipping restrictions and will automatically cancel all orders shipping to "Prohibited States" where shipment of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. PHG does not ship to states or US territories not listed or outside of the United States.  (Restriction information provided by the Wine Institute)

• If you don't follow the above policies & terms and conditions of sale, there is a good chance we may not ship to you again, sorry we are just a little too busy to take care of the problem children in the group.  We handle the occasional problem fairly, have great products, low prices, and we ship reliably - we hope you also believe that is all you can ask for from an online retailer.

• Warning - If you are one of those people that whine and complain about everything, expect special consideration, want to call every 4.5 minutes to see where your stuff is, then we probably are not the place to shop with. However if you long for those mom and pop shop days where everyone gets the same treatment and the owners always do their best despite challenges and difficulties, then open a bottle, surf away until you find that perfect wine or liquor and we'll do our very best to get it to you quickly and safely.
